Penhill Watermelon is a spectacular informal decorative dinnerplate with 10–12 inch ruffled blooms that swirl through watermelon‑pink, peach, coral, lavender, and soft yellow in a constantly shifting ombré. The palette feels like estuary sunrise light, where warm peach and rose mingle with cool lavender shadows as the tide turns. On tall 4–6 foot plants with surprisingly strong stems for such immense blooms, Penhill Watermelon produces a steady flush from mid‑season to frost, each flower a dramatic, sun‑washed focal point in the garden or the vase.
