Kickoff Dahlia Tuber
Kickoff is an informal decorative dahlia producing 3–4 inch blooms in a warm blend of peach, yellow, and soft bronze, often brushed with a whisper of pink. The color shifts gently with temperature and light, giving the flowers a sun‑warmed, almost glowing quality. Its tones sit comfortably within the salmon‑flesh palette — those soft peach and apricot hues that feel both warm and naturally inviting. Compact but vigorous, Kickoff blooms heavily on long stems and remains one of the most quietly exceptional varieties for cutting, even if it hasn’t yet taken the market by storm.

Morph Type: Maturation Shifter + Pattern Morpher — blooms open in warm peach, yellow, and apricot tones that soften or pale as they age, sometimes taking on a dustier pink cast, while also varying bloom to bloom in both color balance and structure. Some flowers glow more vibrant peach‑yellow with fuller, more cupped petals, while others open with fewer petals, lighter tones, and a simpler form. These shifts occur both within a bloom’s lifespan and across different blooms on the same plant.
